Sample Tour Itinerary
As an example of our services, the Pilgrim Tour includes travel in a luxury vehicle along the recently mapped out Mayflower Trail, guide commentaries, and a lunch menu in the historic village of Scrooby – once home of Pilgrim Father William Brewster.
Our other individually tailored heritage tours include visits to Epworth Old Rectory, home of the Wesleys, Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre, and the historic market town of Retford. Details of our specialist tours for Schools and Children's Groups can be found on the Schools page.
Recently, journalist Charles Gardner took Pilgrim Tours Golden Trail, and published an article about it for the Assist News Service. Click the link above to read the article in full.
MEETING PLACES AND TIMES
Where we start our tours depends on where most of our visitors in a group are based. For example, if the majority of people booked on one of our tours are guests at Hotel 'A', we'll arrange to set out from there. And if for the next tour most folk in the group are based at Hotel 'B', then we'll all meet there.
COST & BOOKING
Tour prices vary. As an example, a Pilgrim Tour along the recently mapped out Mayflower Trail costs £45 (including lunch) per person. Please ask for further details.
