The Pilgrim Tour

Our tours begin at 9.00am at a hotel or another convenient meeting place.

From there we visit the history-rich All Saints Church in Babworth, before moving on to St Wilfrid's Church in Scrooby, once home of Pilgrim Father William Brewster.

Next we tuck into the ever-popular buffet lunch at The Pilgrim Fathers Public House & Restaurant. If you're visiting in November, and if there's enough demand, proprietors Geoff and Neece will even lay on a genuine Thanksgiving dinner for you! (It's been said that the first Thanksgiving on North American soil was based on the harvest festivals in Scrooby.)

From Scrooby we proceed to St Helena's Church in Austerfield, and then on to the famous Gainsborough Old Hall, in Gainsborough.

Then, at what will probably seem to be the end of a day that's 'just flashed by', we'll return to the hotel/meeting place by around 5.30pm.
